The weight loss came about from looking at the bigger picture. The strength gains have been excellent and I have enjoyed every second but my body cannot be enjoying it. Im off till the 28th, a few people are around who i havnt seen in a few years and my bird has just got back. I'm enjoying myself and dont think i have to feel guilty about it. I'v done 2 30 min runs and a hike since last wednesday with my diet being spot on right through. I am dedicated to what I do BUT I have learnt the hard way through my rugby and cycling days that complete dedication can become an unhealthy obsession. I can explain myself and put excuse after excuse but i'm too lazy. In the great words of andy littler 'Just have a spliff' (I havn't ever heard him say it but im pretty sure its safe to say he has said it many times) | ||

Deadlifts Oly shoes, no belt, double overhand 60kg x 10 100kg x 10 120kg x 8 140kg x 5 165kg x 5 ,5 ,5 100kg x 5 power cleans 60kg x 5 70kg x 5 80kg x 5 Squats No belt 60kg x 5 80kg x 5 110kg x 5 130kg x 5 Shrugs 60kg x 20 100kg x 10 120kg x 10 140kg x 10 Straps 170kg x 10 Straps off 100kg x 10 Wide grip pulldowns 70kg x 10 85kg x 10 110kg x 8 Rows 80kg x 10 95kg x 10 Few sets of girly curls!!!! Trained at uni gym today with my mate...70kg bodyweight, 125 bench, deadlifted first time tonight and got 140 and squatted 90kg for 8's....f**k lol. Gonna bring him to adders. Deadlifts were good, back feels solid. Form is completely different now. I think its almost exactly the same as how Neil deadlifts (French neil). Finally feel it in my legs when i deadlift now....Probs due to the oly shoes. Grip is getting allot stronger which is good. Good sess overall. | ||
