I dont think doing the bleep test this weekend is a good idea lol. I will be f**ked after and wouldnt get any decent strongman stuff done. Will just do it with you guys next time.


Body is starting to get used to the extra volume etc.. Only thing that is remotely sore today is my lower back and thats just a little tired.

I actually didn't feel that bad after, I'm sure there's far more painful things than doing the bleep test (100 burpee challenge?)!

Just out of interest Jon, seeing as I've pussied out of my 2 'conditioning' sessions (as I changed my workout days, done weights every night this week just to avoid it lol) this week, just how sore does this stuff make you? How bad were you after the 100 burpees? I wouldn't want to f**k up my weight from not being able to walk.

I got bad doms from the 100 burpee challenge - in my back / arse /chest n arms , but i could have trained the next day. after 300 bodyweight squats , deffo not much goin on the next day !!\running is ok but i feel pretty drained after my mammoth 10x hill sprint sessions

infact i fancy the 100 burpee challenge tonite .....

you too hayden, we can do it and 'connect' via out auras plugged into a LAN network.

Cheers for the pain scales, looks like I'll be avoiding the 500 BW squats challenge for a while then!

Everything else is game though.

Do you have a long or medium term plan regarding the conditioning stuff (sorry to hijack your log Hayden) or do you just do whatever you fancy on the day?

Good session tonight. Still not using a proper bench so im benching with a little bit less of an arch which is annoying but not the end of the world. Car is as s**t as ever, booked in on tuesday to go to have a look at the engine and electrics so *fingers crossed*. The push jerks felt good, gonna be focusing on overhead stuff a bit more.

you need to change the title of your journal hayden , coz if you cant get out of bed to make an afternoon session, your not trying hard enough and you wont be any of those things...

i'm only dissappointed coz you missed a treat !!

i do understand that when your your age life is very free n easy and in the big picture it doesnt really matter, but i wanted to see you with that farmers walk !!
