Same score as last year, post up your goals for this year. Minimum of 1, maximum of 10.

This year only members with journals can enter their goals, as it takes us some time to update the list so it's only fair.

however, i will get the 600 total before i nail all the lifts, if that makes sense, kinof a fall back plan type thing

like last year i wanted a 100kg push press and a 100kg strict press, if u can strict press it u can pp it, if that makes sense

I like Boars 50 push ups in a minute goal. I might see how many I can get tmw.

I dont have a journal but my unnoficial goals are:

1. Have a major-injury free year

2. Stop deadlifting like a complete c**t and sort my form out

3. 260/180/230

Mine are pretty simple, to Squat 200KG, Bench 180KG and Deadlift 230KG (all raw). Would give me over 600KG total which I would be more than happy with Happy

Loaded?! Fat chance!

Ive actually found a fairly good gym within walking distance of work so im making waves on No. 1. Luckily they dont enforce a 12 month contract so I can try it out for a few months and see it if fits.

If I had a garage or something id probably put together a home gym but I have no space!

I like those goals Rick. All very attainable. Again though, why the difference between your lifts and the total? Surely if those lifts are appropriate goals then the total isnt? Unless you mean in a comp or all in one day or something?

In all seriousness the last time I snatched 145 was December 2006. After C&J ing 177 a couple of months ago my previous best of 175 was done in 2004. I'm 38 in a couple of weeks. British weightlifters dont improve at 38. It doesnt happen. a 2.5K increase may not seem much to a young fella just starting off, but to someone who's attacked these lifts full force since pre teens it's massive. Several of the omitted goals are in excess of current world masters records as well as being more than anyone at any age did officially in this country last year. Luckily I'm daft enough to think I can achieve these figures, and to try them, but common sense would indicate that they aint going to happen.

No mention has been made of different lifts only. I dont see a problem, but if my list is to be chopped, I'd sooner it was omitted altogether.

Right, enough of being serious. I'm off to take the pissGrin

Yeah, I mean as an actual one-day total (whether in comp or otherwise). That's probably the toughest goal there, actually. (Other than the 125kg one, given my history...)
