firstly, im sorry to burden sugden with more complaints of my injuries.

ok since i started doing using a semi sumo stance my lower back has been fine so thats brilliant, however the strain seems to have been put directly on my glutes and has caused one of them to always be hurting somewhat. so far it isnt that serious, it dosnt hurt so much when i am doing the squats or deadlifts but it does hurt after and can do at any point in time.

as i dont want it to turn serious, and ideally i would like to make it go away completely, does anyone have any suggestions of what i could do to help it? has anyone else had anything like this before?

here is an anatomical reference just in case that helps

Does it hurt to s**t? I imagine that's what you're worrying about the most. Grin

I tore my glute and bought a book about stretching and went through each stretch in the book and found the ones that worked for me for each part of my body. I kept these core stretches and did them daily plus a few more for my glutes and hips and then picked a few others randomly or if anything else felt tight.

The time I would normally spend sitting on the sofa I instead spent stretching. It was boring to start with but I find it really relaxing now. I also really notice a lot of niggles if I stop too so I think it works.

Probably tight hip flexors and tight glutes which causes your pelvis to tilt and make your bum hurt (no homo)

Google hip flexor stretches
glute stretches and glute strengthening stuff
