I agree. He had a great personality too. He could be a household name in a couple of years

Bryce described Z the best way possible when awarding the athletes.
We know this is still far from best shape Z, but after such an injury at 42.. unbelieavable
shape. His deadlift is enough for wining big competitions. Hes my favourite for Arnolds for sure. Worlds will be harder as we see now almost everyone is very good on moving events.

Unfortunately, Z is not qualified for next year's Arnold Classic.

Terry and Z leaning out shows that Terry has the right idea cutting. Z has 20kg+ (?!) on him in muscle at 2-3" shorter. Terry has to bulk and cutting is the right first step. Looking at the shape Z is now, we could have a familiar top 3 at next year's worlds...

Does anybody believe Eddie was actually ill?
It amazes me how much Caron goes under the radar, he had a very good comp and was incredible on the deadlift with no suit!

He was definitely ill. I had the same thing for grip worlds not long back, completely kills power and cramping everywhere, its been going around.

Not sure why you think he wasn't though? Does a load of prep (can be seen on his social media) then pulls out of the giants live world tour finals for what reason exactly? Doesn't make any sense, he for sure wins the show, great events for him so he's gave up a huge comp win against some of the best in the world, bunch of money, a motorbike etc

On top of that, as said, there was a little girl of maybe 5 behind me after the show saying Eddie was her #1 and she was his #1 whilst her gran told her he would have wanted her to cheer the others on. You really think Ed's that much of a t**t? It was in his own country dude. He felt like total s**t for pulling out, he was actually in tears.

I felt he'd pull out before the comp even started, did the same thing at the one in Newcastle at the end of last year. Unless it's Brits or worlds he's never seemed that bothered. I personally got the feeling his name was down to simply sell tickets, I could be wrong though I guess only Eddie and Colin truly know

True. Also the 450 deadlift was old video, not his current shape.. IMO he might have been ill, but also probably off.

He would have walked that comp if he wasnt ill, he may not be fully peaked but he wouldnt have needed to he without thor and shaw there, z isnt as big a threat to eddie as he used to be

Gotta remember since worlds he's took his foot off the pedal, enjoyed himself a bit more. I haven't seen a proper training video since worlds, not like he use to.
A fully peaked Eddie walks that comp, but what shape is he really in, and what desire does he have left to compete

So you think he purposefully faked the log being hard and let 10,000 people from his own country come out to see him perform, including a bunch of kids, knowing all the time he was never going to perform? Also constantly lying to all his fans on social media in the build up. In other words essentially robbing his own people and being massive t**t to say the least..no chance. I don't think Ed's like that at all, he doesn't bulls**t and he was 100% ill but everybody is entitled to an opinion.

Even a half peaked eddie would walk the comp!
The desire would have been to do it for his fans.
Loads of people went to see eddie compete and he was genuinely really upset and apologised to the crowd a few times for letting them down.

His fans mean a lot to him so he would have wanted to put on a good show for them
