AKA the great reset Member 4056, 5208 posts | Was chatting to a bodybuilder earlier. He says he built a good squat and dead before he touched anything. He said 220 squat and 250 dead was no problem but he struggled to bench over 125. His max lifts since going on are 265 squat, 290 dead and 220 bench. Perhaps being a bodybuilder, he benches heavy more often. Not sure. | ||

It's not like there's even money on the line. The shame I'd feel from knowing I was doing it would be unbarable. The shame they must feel when they get caught must be horrendous, or maybe they don't feel any and that's what allows them to do something so pathetic in the first place. | ||

The GBPF/IPF is the most renowned powerlifting org, the only one with a meaningful world title, so many lifters want the titles/medals available to them there. In the end, for lifters who cheat even though there is no financial gain it's all about bragging rights and "look at me, I won a title/medal". I know.  | ||
