The reason I ask is because my training partner will probably be setting a new british and NW 90kg u20 or junior record. Will it count? Even if it doesnt he'll still do it =) | ||

 Scotbasher - forever Member 59, 2115 posts | I'm afraid I'm not lifting at this one,I'll be officiating. My next contest will probably be as a guest at the YNE divisional PL champs. I find it hard work to focus on my lifting and bothering about how smoothly the contest is running and have we sufficient loaders etc. It would be nice to have a couple more referees qualify the next time a course is run. | ||

It's a great shame you're not competing Bryn. You got into all this admin stuff because of your love of powerlifting, yet because you're helping everyone else you can't have a go yourself. Don't know what the answer is, but it just ain't right, mate. Is it just refs that are the problem, cos I'm sure there's gonna be enough non lifters there on the day, + Cleggie, of course, to do bits that will enable you to lift. Sorry I can't do much (I'm coaching new lifters in the lighter weights and then lifting myself) but I'm sure you could be spared for the second flight... | ||
