Nothing exciting just thought I'd share some of my progress after having Time off training

285 raw (not RAW) squat

310 raw Deadlift for 3

80kg overhead + no 2 bands on log bar speed work

Speed squats 160kg + green bands, I also wrapped them round all the pins to shorten the bands and add tension

220kg bench to repboards

Are you using the cambered bar to ease strain on the bicep? Or is it something you've always done?

Just got it today. If I go o bulks and use their mono lift I'm fine or if I have squat stands I'm okay but using the rack I struggle to get the bar down my back so get very sore elbows. The rack is where I wanna put my hands if that makes sense. I find if I squat heavy I can't press properly for about 4-5 days after

seen the deadlift video on YouTube last nice. Your have lots of good videos, 440 deadlift video is quality stuff

I just need to figure out if that's what I want. I may venture into some powerlifting for a bit while I make up my mind.

Cheers pal I am following the same routine I did when I hit that 440 so hopefully it works again. Not expecting to hit that kind of weight for a while though

you will get there again. My mates think I'm strong and you deadlift double what I do. Some crazy strong guys out there lol

Nice vids terry. Im thinking of adding some speed stuff with bands to my overhead press. Do you find it works well ? Do you always do it strict press and 2 reps a set ? I find i cant push press to much it does my knees in.

I swear by it. Every time I've been pressing or deadlifting big numbers I've been doing plenty of speed work. Yes strict and 8 sets of 2. I keep rest time under 1 min between sets too

Ok nice one ill add it in then. Ill start off with the lightest bands and set it up with dumbells like you have as i dont have a power rack in my gym. Cheers terry

Looking very good. Hope you go for WSM again this year but will support you in whatever you choose!!

Damn impressive vids. Wish I lived down south. Would love to train in the same unit as you! Much inspiration!
