Member 194, 3976 posts | Combat shorts or jeans and a t-shirt - usually of the loosest fitting i can find as I have to wear a restrictive shirt all day and I hate it. Im my house its normally shorts, and that is it

Do hugs, not drugs. Member 136, 712 posts SQ 380, BP 242.5, DL 330952.5 kgs @ 110kgs Eq | Lifters are scruffy bas***ds, the lot of them. It seems that the more you are interested in strength training, the less time you devote to your appearance. Even in the gym itself, the scruffier the lifter, the better the lifter; as a good rule of thumb. I train with Mick and JC and the pair of them are strong f**kers - that's all I'm saying. I do think one should wear good shoes though. Cheap shoes are the sign of a poltroon.

Member 424, 532 posts SQ 190, BP 145, DL 220555.0 kgs @ 103kgs UnEq | Ben Sherman shirt or Fred Perry Polo, blue jeans (preferably 501's), Crombie Jacket for smart, bomber for casual. Brogues (for smart) Dealer boots or loafers. Just because I dont shave my head anymore, doesnt mean I shouldnt dress well. Skinhead fashion (done properly) is beautiful!!! And it suits most weightlifters/strongmen. Clothes maketh the man!

I had a pair of 501s when I was eleven and they were very tight on the thighs (I wasn't fat back then either). Since then, as Mr Han said to Williams after he requested to leave the Island on Enter the Dragon, "It is not possible!"Just because I dont shave my head anymore, doesnt mean I shouldnt dress well.
