Trained today and ended up straining a couple of muscles, made me have a big think about whether I want to carry on with strongman, there's been other factors not just that one, I was thinking that I didn't but after talking to a friend tonight I think I might just have a little break doing what I fancy for a couple of months and see how I feel as I still want to compete. Had close to 10 years following programmes pretty strictly and I think I need some time just having fun with training and fitness, I put so much pressure on myself that it's been making it a bit less enjoyable for me these last few months so I'll have a little break and reset my mind

Day off yesterday reffing a comp but I flipped a 520kg tire which was heavy as balls haha

Tried doing a double, 5 stairs straight into 5 but kept bottling it and putting my foot down on the 9th step

I did barely over 10 metres, just felt like I was pressing it not using my lower body, think I need a lesson!

Did a little demo today on some Highland games stuff

Just messing about but managed an easy 110x12 beltless Strict press on the log which is probably some kind of PB

Back to it properly tomorrow
