Ive never used lifting equipment but curiosity is starting 2 get the better of me and im finding myself browsing for bench shirts etc on a regular basis...
Im mainly intrested in a bench shirt as i believe my bench is quite week...

Is equipped lifting as effective as they say? Where 2 buy from?
Any advice appreciated...Thanks

Ive heard people saying that a bench shirt can increase your lift by up 2 40 kilo, It seems crazy that by putting on a shirt you can gain such an increse. I know that 40kilos is more than likely top end of a gain im just Unsure weather its worth purchasing 1 or not?

Why would you buy kit unless you want to compete?

Are you able to train with equipped lifters or people who have an understanding of equipped lifting?

You can't just ask a randomer to spot you when benching in a shirt it can be dangerous

Thanks for the reply, My training partner has lifted both equipped & unequipped and has a good understanding. I think im going 2 buy myself a Metal Slingshot see how that goes then either sack the idea or go ahead with buying some equipment

Are you sure this isn't just so you can tell people you bench more that you actually can?

See, when you post that as your first post it sends the fingers of the mods twitching over the "ban" button. Try to be a bit less confrontational, mmkay?
