We have a lot of really good strongmen in the uk now and they all want there shot which is why they are doing the qualifiers. hope ben smashes it

There's guys that have won open comps, placed top 5 at uk's etc that aren't on the list. Again it's nothing personal just seems an odd call to be honest. Like I said nothing personal just query really

This price increase coincides with it being judged popular enough to presell tickets too. Possibly seen as an opportunity to make more money? I understand there are costs to cover, like the use of the gym for a day, as at the seminar last year, but if £12 per person was enouh to pay for the facility AND the fees for Loz, Rob and Terry to appear I'm not sure why the revenue requirement is the same as the overheads are not? Surely prize money should be provided by sponsors, not that any of the athletes would be bothered by prize money I'm sure, the opportunities for Europes and Giants Live being worth far more. What is the prize money? Yes this is a moaning post, I think it is too expensive considering you can watch Europes Strongest Man itself in a top rugby league stadium for £15 versus a qualifier in an industrial unit in Swindon for £12? And yes before anyone starts no I don't want to organise a competition myself, no I won't be going then, yes I am grateful people organise competitions off their own back and yes I'm a miserable c**t.

I'd imagine (I could be wrong, obviously lol) the likes of Cuddles, Gardner, Shaw, Lawson will be in regardless of the qual stats The prob I have with the "won open comps" thing, is that some fairly big open comps, do not have a mssive amount of open competitors in the UK, the UKSC quals (normally) apart
