Red Bull is banned in netball Member 799, 1484 posts | Travel. Loz has agreed that some existing comps are now quals, they havent been organised esp to be quals. Its worth the travel to try and get a place. Unless there is a mids comp already planned and not been announced. | ||

Red Bull is banned in netball Member 799, 1484 posts | I dont think so; both are classed as Open comps, so anyone can do them as far as I am aware. This may in turn cause problems, as if you win one of the comps and aren't English/have an British passport, I am not sure what the state of play will be as Loz's comp is a British Qualifier for TWI (I think) who require passports. I think Loz would be the best person to clarify that tbh. | ||

People have a chance of qualifying for this at Gaz's Comp and at Rob Framptons's comp. Time to get heads down, training ramped up and get names thrown in to do the qualifiers! If I'm honest Tom I think that I have earned a chance too prove myself in this comp with what I have achieved this year. My numbers certainly show I'm capable and enough people thave expressed that who don't really know me. I'm just going on what I have won like Laurence expressed 2012 achievements. Which I believe I have proved and many will agree. But again I'm sure politics will come in too play,which I hope not but I'm ready for what ever challenge and too prove my place is earned. Wayne.....never did I say you shouldnt get a spot, I was just clarifying Jay's point as he was putting you forward but had put the wrong comp. A tad pedantic perhaps, but best the info used to put you forward is correct. I agree you should have a spot based on winning a National title. I really dont know much about the EMPM though. My point about travelling to quals was never directed at you, just at folk in general. Maybe I didn't make it clear it wasnt directed at you, but I didn't think I would have to. | ||

The European Strength Association want the best guys competing thats why along with the main guys we have asked Gary and Rob to use the contests they are running to give others a chance. you are welcome to compete in both. As for the non british guys I will need to talk to the guys in charge and find out what the score is. Thanks for supporting this event guys. Its still not perfect but the European Strength Association is doing a great job for strongman right now and if we all support the guys running it things will continue to improve. Loz | ||

Shoulderz like boulderz Member 842, 479 posts | Due to the interest in the comp for spectators we are offering advance tickets for sale. These will be on a first come first serve basis. Tickets will be £12 and can be payed only through Pro Strength and Fitness, either via phone, paypal or at the gym. Numbers are limited as the comp will be indoors and seated. They go on sale as from Monday 14th Jan. Paypal info and phone number to ring will be on here by Monday. Many thanks. | ||
