Any suggestions to get a bit more energy before training which isn't going to add many calories?

Ephedrine and caffeine Wink

I read that ephedrine is legal for use outside of BWLA competitions, just not during.

Its also a great appetite suppressant!

What do you take the caffeine in? Don't really want to try ephedrine even if it is legal, sounds like it will get me a bit too wired. Appetite suppression isn't a problem - that's all a mental game Ironback!!

caff and eph as usual, Maybe reduce carbs earlier in the day and have more around your workouts, also drink lots of water during training.

P.S - Dieting is Gay.

I have a large bowl of porrage before training and often eat fruit pastals during training then worry about keeping cals low that evening/night. Also i have caffine tablets im going to start using. Theres quite a few pre-work out drinks you can buy that are actually quite good and eph free. Oh and even diet red bull?

1 liter of water with Garnell Enrage (just like red bull) and 12 BCAA before and plenty of water through training

Used to just have 200mg caffeine, but now because I'm "cutting" I'm taking that plus 30mg ephedrine as well, tbh I've noticed no massive buzz or anything, just enough energy so it feels like a normal session despite no calories.

edit: forgot to put quotation marks around "cutting"

I've tried caffeine, I used to take Nox drink a couple of years back. Most things work for a while but then your body gets used to them, and then you have to decide whether it is worth it to take more. Not sure it is to be honest. Probably best to take caffeine occasionally if you know you are going to have a heavy session.

I think maybe the key is to examine the meal you have before training?
