Sparring is good, you need to learn to take a punch without going into flight mode. However, both are underwhelming now. In a year they should have a few decent combos and be able to trade jabs for 3 rounds. I honestly think the one who is less winded after the first round will knock the other out. They are big punchers. Reach is an advantage, but not if your hands are down while you try to get your breath. Has Thor said he’s away filming in 2021?

His lodger Paddy, and a little boxing trainer that Ed broke his ribs? He should have access to some decent people.

He should have access to some decent people. In one of the videos he introduces Lyndon Newbin. He trains the Irish fighter Nathan Gorman (Tyson Furrys Cousin. Gorman was fighting with Ricky Hatton until the middle of the year but is with Nathan Clarke’s club now: https://www.southcheshireabc.com/ I can’t see that chap Lyndon on the website, but he can’t be too bad if he’s working with Hatton or Clarke. Is Eddie near Cheshire?

See You Next Tuesday Member 2254, 3824 posts SQ 240, BP 165, DL 300705.0 kgs @ 89kgs UnEq | Thor is going 3 rounds in an exhibition match with a pro boxer in January. I don't know anything about the opponent apart from he's called Ward .... Maybe it's one of the twins

what is everyone's fran time? Member 3986, 10443 posts SQ 340, BP 200, DL 400940.0 kgs @ 129kgs Eq | It's a much bigger man than Andre Ward, it's a good cruiserweight. People keep talking all sorts of s**t about it and have no idea that it's a practice for Thor which is absolutely a sensible thing for him to do
AdamT | ... | 01-12-2020 @ 23:39
AKA the great reset Member 4056, 5206 posts | A cruiserweight isn't much bigger than Andre and certainly not as good Obviously it's not ward, as he would f**king destroy hafthor, as he is only a strongman and can't fight

It says its an exhibition fight with no KO. Some nice quotes here: https://www.rt.com/sport/508424-bjornsson-ward-boxing-match/

Member 3986, 10443 posts SQ 340, BP 200, DL 400940.0 kgs @ 129kgs Eq | It's a practise for him, no need to fight someone his size, he's a similar height to Ed which is a good idea. The pro won't be trying to take his head off its a payday for him and a school day for Thor

Is there bad blood between the promoters?Thor down to 157kg. I think the contract weight of 150kg was mentioned. Looks less like a lego man.

No technique, very slow on his feet. I see Hall smashing Thor's ribs in during the first round if they have a proper fight and not an exhibition style thingy.
