With Ed putting less emphasis on his deads now that the impossible 500kg has been achieved, I wonder how or what Ed will focus on. Pressing perhaps, or just bringing up all the other areas and backing off the deads a little. | ||

As has been stated before, it's his cardio (or lack thereof) that kills him. Definitely see him taking a podium if he puts his best performances together on the big day. Anybody know what his log is like at the moment? Remember him killing that at one point. | ||

 It's a moonface era now. Member 5901, 956 posts | At first I was impressed by his bench. Now I see 2 things. First his set up is much more improved and his range of motion is much smaller, as he got much bigger also. Second he uses back. Before his pressing was more raw. U will see guys his overhead will probably be stronger but not by much. Waiting to see some big axle press before December competition. Will he match Z's 208 x 2 from 2010? As far as Z competing its sad to see the great champion trying to stay on focus, but he obviously cant and will probably never do it again. But some other greats like Svend, Samuelson, Hugo were fading much earlier than than their 40's, so whats happening to Savickas is absoulutely normal by the laws of nature. | ||
