The breakdown by sport for positive tests in the UK in the last twelve months is: Rugby Union: 10 cases Rugby League: 6 cases Ice Hockey: 2 cases Cycling: 1 case Not a great reflection on Rugby (Union or League), when they account for 84% of sanctioned athletes. Why isnt this all over the papers?

Not sure about the Welsh athletes, was it in the last 12 months, thats as far back as i looked to be honest. I have to admit i dont read the papers very much. I was more referring to why hadnt it been sensationalised by the media as they tend to do sometimes, and for the likes of a call for Rubgy to be withdrawn from school activities or something ridiculous.

There have been some lower level players done for gear (mainly in wales if I remember correctly). Edit: just checked the lists and there seem to be plenty of guys failing for PEDS but I have no idea who any of them are so they're probably jokers - no major loss to the sport

Kind of making them sacrificial lambs.
