Yup, exactly that. Would hate it if you had a setback from training too heavy too soon.

didnt time my rests today as my brother was here n we was chatting so had longer rests than they should have been.
everything felt good tho, dropped my arch on bench a lot as i could feel it on my stomach on the 1st warm up i arched (70kg set), so will be continuing with what i class as a half arch. top set still felt ok so hopefully it wont effect numbers too much.

BW 81.2 - sleep much better last night.

didnt do mobility today and back felt a little stiff. also trained morning instead of after dinner so no pre workout food or coffee.

Squat
20 x 15
50 x 8
80 x 5
100 x 3

belt on
135 x 5
125 x 5 x 3

all felt heavier today. hopefully will be better next week with better circumstances. form was still fine just a bit slower n heavier on the back.

got headache after 1st few sets of squats n felt sick toward the end of session. will put it down to lack of food n caffeine. just happy to get the work done today, feeling bleurgh Unhappy

sleep still s**t, mrs got chest infection n being keeping me up since last Fri. goes downstairs in mid of night so i nod off but then comes back up n f**king wakes me up. anyho the show must go on....

end of this training week and happy with everything so far, feeling confident for next weeks weights and after that i drop back a bit for the next wave.

er well stomach seems fine with training (except arching bench). still a bit sensitive but bracing doesnt bother it.

quad niggle seems to have disappeared. back still on n off but is/was when i dont train. knees feeling better than they have in a long time, think its due to changes in squat tech, lil sore at min tho cos being doing some flooring at home. and pec hasnt given me bother whilst benching but can still feel something isnt right every now n again so doubt thats guna fix itself so just have to keep training round it.

was worried about top set after deciding to lower my arch last week. however it was quite comfy, 4th was as good as the 1st rep n the 5th was only slightly slower so im sure theres still a bit in the tank.

Strict Bench
90 x 8 x 3

all nice enough, touch harder than last week but didnt time rests last week.

DB Bench
35's x 12, 10, 8, 6

got 12x3 last week with long rests, shows the difference. threw 4th set in to make up total reps.


Tris/Flys x 12/15, 12/15, 12+12(drop set)/15 last set into press ups x 10+

Side Raise/RC Raise x 15/15 x 3

press ups x 20


bench went as well as i could of hoped really. confident going into the next wave now.

overall was much better than last week, knees wasnt too bad either.
happy with squats and dont hit 145x5 for another 4 weeks by which time it should feel as comfy as todays 140x5 hopefully.
did get top set on vid so if any ones interested and i can be assed il upload it.
