luki | Do you own a specific deadlift belt? | 16-09-2015 @ 11:00
Avatar Member 5517, 1538 posts SQ 160, BP 165, DL 201526.0 kgs @ 110kgs UnEq | I've a 4" belt I use for everything. Mark Rippetoe is on about these restricting movement in the deadlift here, http://startingstrength.com/site/article/the_belt_and_the_dead... Skip to the bottom of page two if you want the meat and no gravy. It seems to make sense.

Sports an extremely muscular arse. Member 38, 6253 posts | The only thing I do differently is on Squat I'll have both prongs levered in so it's tighter, in deadlift it'll only be one so it's a bit looser... And tbh I'll only do that when I'm fat. Maybe it's cos Rippledough is a fat c**t?

Member 5515, 286 posts SQ 200, BP 130, DL 210540.0 kgs @ 87kgs UnEq | I prefer squatting in a lever belt and deadlifting with a single prong. I also like wearing the belt higher for deadlifts.

I guess he does think telling everyone to drink a gallon of whole milk a day is a good idea?

When I bend over, I inhale then - not before hand like a lot of people so I need to put my inhaled gut between my thighs where it fits. The belt is counter-productive for me. Long torso though.
