Ouch. Brightside is I'm injury free and the season isn't over yet, i just need to decide what that means for me. | ||

Just didn't seem to be firing at 100% and couldn't get fired up. 16/5 Hanging knee raises/calf stretch/banded adductor flexion - 2 trisets. Cambered bar squats 105, 185, 225, Belt, 245 x 3. Power cleans/barbell rows/RDLs 70, 90 x 5/8/10. Banded curls/DB concentration curls - 2 supersets. Cambered bar hold/bw hangs 105, 145 x 20s/20s. Just playing tonight and feeling everything out. Still a bit off my game it seems. Light pressing tomorrow then physio on Saturday, hopefully that will have me back on track for next week. | ||

Cambered bar strict press 65, 85, Belt + wraps, 105 x 2 eomom x 5. Cambered bar push press Belt, 105, Wraps, 125 x 3 - PB. Slight incline Hixxy press 60 x 15, 15, 15, 15. Banded triceps pushdowns/TRX triceps extensions - 2 supersets. Still having some issues with the left shoulder and couldn't bench any weight in comfort so just repped out for that pump. | ||

Deadlifts 180, 260, 300, Belt, 320 x 1. Made a couple of changes to my front squats so hopefully they will carry over a little better to my lagging overhead. Deads feeling pretty smooth and moving quickly. Pulling a heavy single on Monday to submit for the official strongman European championships so hoping for something decent. | ||

Farmers 134 x 15m, 20m, Belt, 154 x 20m. First two vids for the official strongman qualifier done. Both fairly comfy, probably another 10kg there on each lift but wanted to play it safe. Hit overhead on Monday probably and then just have to wait and see if i get an invite. | ||

Final video completed for official strongman. Played safe on the 140, but very nearly made the 150. Tempted to go back in a couple of days when I'm fresh and put it up, but I'll wait and see what others do first. | ||

As I'm taking it easy this week ahead of my holiday i figured I'd just have another play with clean and press. Pushed the PB up 4kg and resisted tge temptation to do more. Until Thursday at least. | ||

Back on to proper training now after my fortnight of playing around/deloading. Going to try out eccentrics for a few weeks. Not something I've ever tried so should be a nice change. | ||
