Who said it's hardcore? Member 3896, 847 posts SQ 265, BP 150, DL 320735.0 kgs @ 128kgs UnEq | Anyone here really do it? Been pushing it for a while but need to listen to my body I think. 12 weeks straight of heavy consistent work but it's taken it's toll. Might start adding in some deload weeks every 4 weeks or so just to try and stay fresher. Seems like a waste of a workout (or multiple) in my head (what with Father Time catching up on me).

I eat a lot of meat Member 5124, 3014 posts SQ 245, BP 130, DL 275650.0 kgs @ 105kgs UnEq | I see many people differ on what they actually class a deload as... Some reduce volume, some reduce weight % used, while some reduce intensity. I prefer to do some speed work, where I use 50% of my 1RM and then focus on speed and technique. I'd love to hear some more peoples thoughts on this though.

Lovely ass Congrats. Member 5958, 2315 posts SQ 280, BP 170, DL 300750.0 kgs @ 138kgs UnEq | 4 weeks between deloads sounds a bit close to me. I work in 8 weeks blocks then my deload would look like 65%ish of my 1RM
