yes I hope i can, to be fair the water retention i will get from the taurine/creatine will push me up another 1kg probably.

Barbell curls:

3 x 10 @ 55kg


So I trained 6 hours after i drank the suplements the muscle pumps were crazy, i couldnt move my arms after. its so random.

today was just a light arm day to get used to the volume, i will up the weights next week as that will be more than enough time to get used to the suplements.

BCAA and glutamine are both rank (not as bad as CEE mind) but they're quite bearable if you sweeten them enough. I have mine with dextrose/maltodextrin in water and it's not so bad.

I did think about getting the furctose suggar but i forgot sadly, but i will try and get a decent sugar source.

Leg training:

Squat:

10x10 @ 60kg

Lunges (dumbells)

10xwalks (10m per set) @ 30kg dumbells.

Hamstring curls:

5 x 10 @ 30kg

Standing calf rase:

3 x 50

FIN

Conclusion:

I wanted to get all 10 sets today on the squats so i did 60kg all the way though, next week 70kg. I did todays squat session in 40mins and that was with a training partner doing the same workout.

Lunges were there because leg extention machine was f**ked.

had loads of time so i did hamstring curls.

calves were ok, but didnt get a chance to do seated.

Push press (olympic barbell)

3 x 10 @ 50
6 x 10 @ 55kg
1 x 3 @ 55kg DOH

side lateral rases:

5 x 10 with a 5kg plate each hand

front rase:

5 x 10 with 5kg plate one arm at a time

CONCLUSION:

went well, agression during the workout was very good and helped me keep very focused on the lifts, I started not locking out at the very top of the movement and keeping the tention on the shoulders all the time. also I found today that my recovery was much better than normal (must be the creatine/taurine Grin)

I found it was very easy and decided to up the weight a bit.

i havent done lateral rases before and as i dont have a dumbell at home i did them with a plate instead its quite good for my grip as well.

my shoulders are very pumped now. and my traps

1 x 3 @ 90kg - weak as a kitten
1 x 8 @ 80kg

Incline Dumbell press:

1 x 10 @ 22.5kg
1 x 5 @ 37.5kg

Machine flys:

5 x 10 @ 100kg

Conclusion:

Felt weak as a kitten the s**ts makes you a girlyman! anyway on the mend now and hopefully when i replace the nutrents that i lost with the illness i will be good as new.

Had my first solid s**t tonight since sunday! yaaaaaay.

* First day back after test flu/deli belly.

Shoulders:

Barbell Push press:

1 x 20 @ bar warmup (ofcourse)
1 x 10 @ 50kg
1 x 10 @ 60kg
1 x 8 @ 70kg
2 x 10 @ 67.5kg
1 x 5 @ 67.5kg
1 x 8 @ 65kg
3 x 10 @ 62.5kg

Side lateral rases with 10 kg plate:

5 x 10 each arm

Front rases with 6kg kettlebell:

5 x 10 each arm

Fin

Conclusion:

Wooohooo, ace considering i lost 4 kg due to the illness and it being only a one day i have been feeling 100% its f**king ace.

felt realy strong on all the exersises and the focus i could use was great.

I should explain that im doing the non-lockout version of the push press so its takeing a bit of getting used to but i quite like it. it was much better than before though, the 70kg felt nice but i wanted to get consistant high reps so i lowered the weight a bit.

I tryed front rases with the 10kg plates got a few reps but it felt s**t so i used my adjustable kettlebell instead.

I was sweating BAD today it was as if i had used the baby oil....

vascularity is better (i guess i lost alot of water & crap with my unplained colonic...)

going to start takeing the suplement stack again tonight.

then decided to have some fun...

two man Deadlift (me and the wife):

1 x 2 @ 120kg
1 x 2 @ 150kg

Conclusion:

Well this is the weight i will be useing in future for deadlift day, very hard but strangely rewarding.

Two man deadlift is funny (i have it on video but its DVD format so i have to work out a way to convert it for my PC.)

I was going to do rows but i was f**ked.

Flat barbell (close grip) bench press:

Smith Machine Incline Bench press:

Tricep rope press down (continious tention weight dosent touch the stack):

1 x 10 @ 60kg warmup

did about 4 sets up to 90kg for 7 reps.

Conclusion:

well was feeling great today, so i did ok on the flat bench but i did want 1x10 for 100kg but it will come i can feel it.

Inclines smith machine was a b**ch im sure i did 90kg a few months ago i guess i have to learn the machine again. im wondering if i should just do free weight incline bench next time... hummm.....

Machine flys, well i wanted to do incline cable crossovers but the cable crossover machine is right next to a wall so i couldnt get enough space so i settled for this, its ok for a pumper machine i guess.

Tricep pressdowns not so bad, i realy like the rope atachment as you can go way further down than with a bar.

lat pulldowns were a bit of a wild exersises to finish off on but i had loads of time and i wanted to work a bit more on my back.

All in all a ok workout!

Leg day:

1 x 10 @ 105kg
1 x 3 @ 145kg

Hack squats:

5 x 10 @ stack (about 150kg)

Leg extentions (single 10 reps each side then straight on to both legs togeather 10reps)

3 times.

Calf rases:

3 x 45 @ stack

Conclusion:

Felt nice and strong today! so i wanted to lift some (relatively heavy weights to see how the test is doing.).

I feel much stronger in myself in my lifts there solid and quite quick.

didnt do hamstrings because they closed all the windows in the gym so it was turning into a sauna.

some old chubby guys at the gym today was funny to watch (my gym has its fair share of screamers) 90kg bench press and there screaming like its 200kg the training partner is deadlifting the weight of his chest every rep. I must say i did chuckle.

What's the plan exactly with this GVT stuff? Sometimes you seem to get 10 sets; sometimes it's less.
