makes sense as grip is ultimately muscles and nervous system of the forearms and below

Yeah its all very different, even stuff with the same exact grip can be different. For example you can be much better at inch dumbbell lifts than a rolling thickbar handle that's the same size. Kind of like farmers walk and yoke is with strongman.

Grip training can be tough on the back but it really depends what you are doing. I'd say general strength training will give you a good level of grip without specifically training it and grip lifts will give you a good level of general strength without doing that training, but both done together will give the best results for either.

No trouble in lifting a 90kg fat grip kettlebell with one hand but CoC is 1.5 MAYBE 2.

Doh 200kg x20 ( this wasn't fun )

I DOH 270 on a texas bar with chalk thursday just gone.

It wasnt inteded or planned. I was having horendous pain turning my grip so stuck with it.

Thanks mate. It was more an annoyance at the time and ruining my session. Wasnt tell someone pointed out to me that id done it lol.

Wont lie tho my left hand has been ripped to pieces by doing it. Looks like ive draged it over broken glass.

As was I Wayne, I think it's because increasing my DOH was my mission last time I was dieting and now I'm dieting again I may have to give it another shot

Thanks mate. I must say im rather proud. Id love to DOH all my lifts tbh. Its something i will try and achieve over my lifting career.

I did a 250kg chalked d.o.h on Monday on a Rogue Power bar and Rogue plates. Current weight about 108.

Will try more after UK's strongest u105 this weekend.
