I am not sure of Kaz's numbers. How do they compare to the statically strongest strongmen competitors today?

If he is off the best how would he have gone about being the best in this era of SM? I assume he was trying to be as strong as possible back then?

Not too sure of his numbers.

Think he benched 300 raw, deadlift around 405-410 and maybe squatted 400.

Not fully sure though.

"lifetime best three-lift-total of 2425 lbs (1100 kg)...925.9 lbs (420 kg) squat, 661.4 lbs (300 kg) bench press and an 837.8 lbs (380 kg) deadlift."

"Career aggregate total (3 best official lifts) – 1122 kg (420 + 300 + 402) / 2474,0 lbs (925.9 + 661.4 + 886.7)."

Squats would have been in a marathon suit with s**t wraps.

Seeing as how Kaz was originally from Krypton, I think the superpowers he has as a result of his alien biology would indeed mean he could dominate now if he chose to.

Remember a picture of him doing a 220kg seated front press, too.
Although he was well down on the log press compared to the weights used nowadays, I think that was more to do with a lack of practice at the event and maybe technique.

Never seen that picture before. Can you show it?
His technique on log was absolutely awful just like everyone's technique that day.
he just curled a 375lbs log to his chest and strict pressed it like a joke

I don't think he would challenge any of the top guys today. Very strong? No doubt, but his endurance, fitness and speed was lacking by todays standard. He also wouldnt have enough bodyweight.

If he were around now with modern training he would be right up there.

Couldnt see any chance of that, the 'supplements' back then were far better quality and he just didnt have the kind of athletism or size he would need to beat todays competitors. All that would have happened if he came later would be he would push his weight up even further and get constantly injured. He was getting injured a lot at 150kg, at 170kg (mere average for todays best) he would be getting a torn muscle every other comp. He didnt have enough flexibility or foot speed and he would burn out like crazy doing medleys that guys now could do twice over. Even in things like deadlift which would be his best hope, a good number of guys would beat him, and back then guys did more gym work. Honestly i don't think he wouldnt have any shot at making the finals, guys like shaw, thor, z, hollands, they are massive super athletes that have deadicated there lives to strongman, kaz was more of a powerlifter.
