Cheers for the videos hixxy, hurt me to watch some of them tbh as i know i can do better but focusing on recovery now.

Went to shanes with ben hoping to do some overhead and farmers + sandbag. But Knee wouldnt let it, tried light farmers and it wasnt happy so did farmers pickup

per hand
96kg
105kg x 3 pb
110kg x 3 pb


one arm dumbbell
40kg
right x 2
left lots of fails then x 1

log press
messed around with this did loads of different things to try get the leg working right but couldnt i think my best set was 3 or 4 x 75kg just cant produce drive until its better.

Going to take another couple of days off, and go back to strict pressing everything Happy

Also found out the date of my MRI is the 15th

Not 100% sure until i get the MRI but it could be a torn ligiment or torn cartlige.

Nah the knee was fine before then i ended up on crutches so screw you hixxy! :P

use that agression on the log mate - not on me Grin

Rest is important if your injured ryan i cant stress that much more. If your going to persue a solid training programme you cant fulfil any goals or progress if you keep blaming your knee. You have no upcoming comps or any reason why you cant rest so you should do so, otherwise you will always have this problem.

I had to rest my bicep and didnt rest it long enough and it still causes me problems. N i cant blame the arm for bad workouts only myself for not giving it enough healing time!

Plenty of heat on the f**ker!

Yes ryan!! enough knee knee knee! take sometime off and come back when it's ready, you're knee is never going to get better if you're doing farmers etc.

If ya don't then your journal is just going to be tryed this but knee wouldn't let me!!! rest my brother and come back 100%

I know you guys say rest but im telling you lets see what the MRI says, maybe rest will fix it maybe not, and if you dont try do something you won't know if you can or not, if it doesnt feel like i can do it i don't like farmers i did a light weight, then decided i couldnt do it so i altered it, and i see no problem in that, you yourself hixxy when you did your bicep did things that didn't hurt the bicep, thats what im doing im working around it. It was shane that asked about my knee, so i told him about it. Now you know and thats that.

Also im happy with the workouts and working round it im still progressing very well, my close grip has gone up from 75kg for 5 to 100 for 5 and my deadlift went up from 200 x1 to 200 x 3 and 210 for a single. So to say that im having bad training because of the knee is silly im not letting it stop me.

I train at lancaster uni, or sometimes at your house :P haha
