Member 917, 43 posts SQ 330, BP 250, DL 292.5872.5 kgs @ 120kgs Eq | Coc grippers are harder to close the longer you have them as the springs are especially prone to rust. I`ve had my grippers for approx 8 years and i`ve always been able to close no.2, guy at our gym has new no.2 and i can close his much easier than my old no.2. Another guy at our gym can close no.3 with 2 fingers and has closed no.4 on many occasions!!

I don't know what all the fuss was about before! I think I might buy a 2.5 ![]() depending on what your wanting to do wayne get a grip of iron like Sam or to help you in strongman comps you can go both ways. use the trainer, Number 1 and Number 1.5 CoC grippers and hold them shut for time to help your grip endurance and then reps and closing the grippers with the spring at the bottom next to you pinky to work your crush grip strength.

That is no coincidence in my book

As a general rule of thumb, people who speak ill of particular exercises not having the specific `carryover` for their sport, are typically s**t at them! You cant win them all...

I found it easier to have a bit of a "run-up" and squeeze with the levers further apart. Big hands helps as well.
