Coc grippers are harder to close the longer you have them as the springs are especially prone to rust. I`ve had my grippers for approx 8 years and i`ve always been able to close no.2, guy at our gym has new no.2 and i can close his much easier than my old no.2. Another guy at our gym can close no.3 with 2 fingers and has closed no.4 on many occasions!!

depending on what your wanting to do wayne get a grip of iron like Sam or to help you in strongman comps you can go both ways. use the trainer, Number 1 and Number 1.5 CoC grippers and hold them shut for time to help your grip endurance and then reps and closing the grippers with the spring at the bottom next to you pinky to work your crush grip strength.

I don't agree

Strong hands are strong hands, work all the different types of hand strength, as each type has carryover

holding farmers requires you to really squeeze your hands closed, I see plenty of carryover

The guys who I know that have the best grip on farmers, can close the 3, Cherry and Daly. That is no coincidence in my book

Why? Don't you believe me?

As a general rule of thumb, people who speak ill of particular exercises not having the specific `carryover` for their sport, are typically s**t at them! You cant win them all...

never used em never will. i dont see them carrying over in2 strongman.

as for the 2 vids i was bored stiff to be honest and surprised that the first guy used both hands to start the squeeze? only my opinion

thats called setting the gripper gray, puts you in a more favourable position to start

watching you double over that 155 axle, I would say you are a bit of a grip monster anyway!

Some people find it a lot easier to set the CoC with 2 hands and then squeeze with one. I found it easier to have a bit of a "run-up" and squeeze with the levers further apart. Big hands helps as well.
