Cheap or Second hand weight plates

I am more than likely going for the JT entry level mini log so I'm looking for plates that fit olympic pins. I've had a look on ebay and the general seems to be about £80 for 2 x 20kg plates, which I have no idea whether this good or bad to be honest as i've never bought weights before. So basically i'm asking if anyone has second hand plates for sale or anyone knows if I can get them any cheaper but in a very long winded way

That is for the bodymax olympic plates. I have 265kg of these and they are decent quality and have been taking some hammer deadlifting.

I've always found it was best to message people selling auction items (rather than buy it now) and offer them a price. Postage is always a pain so look local where you can to save on that. free ads paper always has some gems, also have a look on other online sites too. There are some good websites that sell stuff new, like powerhouse fitness, they have lots of offers on all the time too, so might be worth looking at them. I tihnk the plates arent a normal size but are Oly fitment.

Sports an extremely muscular arse. Member 38, 6253 posts	I'm sure it varies during the year, over the last 3-4 years I've never bought more than 1kg per £1 and I've got around 350kg worth of weights at my home gym from Ebay. Those are all second hand plates mind, not your fancy new ones!

Uk limbo dancing champion Member 2666, 6551 posts SQ 202, BP 170, DL 255 627.0 kgs @ 88kgs UnEq	powerhouse fitness or fitness superstore were the cheapest when i bought mine. i got a couple of things from both cos some stuff was cheaper on 1 site n other stuff cheaper on the other. i cant remember which 1 was cheaper for the plates tho. check both as they might have a bulk package or sale offers etc.

Hopefully be able to get to Gym1 for an hour tho. Spent all day at the Watford comp when i should have been working today.
