My name is Carlos Reyes, I am 19 years old, and I compete as a U90k in the United States (our weight class limit is actually 200.4lbs / 91.1kg). I am the 2010 and 2011 U90kg Teen National Champion, and I recently competed in the 2011 North American Strongman Men's National Championships on November 4th-5th. I took first in the 90kg Men's Open Division. The events were as follows: 116kg Log Clean and Press for Reps, 341kg Yoke Walk for 25 meters, 129.5kg (per hand) Farmer's Walk for 25 meters, Heavy Car Deadlift (320kg+ in hand), 136.4kg Hussafelt stone carry for max distance (I went just shy of 88 meters), and a 136.4kg atlas stone over a 1.32 meter bar for reps. We are separately scored for individual weight class awards/titles, but after the show, the 90kg and 105kg athletes are scored together for comparison. I am the first 90kg in North American Strongman history to crack the overall (90kg-105kg) top 10! I don't take many videos in training, but here is a video of my log lift PR done two weeks before the show. I did this lift at my pre-competition body weight of ~94kg. I competed with my good friend Brandon McDonald (2010 US U90kg Champion), who spoke very highly of the competition he participated in last year at Britain's Strongest Man U90kg. Hopefully, this post shows someone what us American U90kg's are capable of, and the right person will read this thread and perhaps give me the same wonderful opportunity he had . Member 5, 25592 posts Administrator	Hi carlos !! we have another member called carlos , but he isnt a hunky strong american !! whats 340lb in kilos ? about 150 ? very impressive !! brandon will have told you about james 'the dominator' ...but you seem to stack up very well .... i competed in the ESM u90 with brandon and it was a great day ! although personally i dont like the idea of using the same weights as the 105's ...seem a little lazy to me ...the organisers could put a bit more effort in !! best of luck mate !!
