Warmed up on Airdyne bike.

Rolled.

Dynamic Stretched.

Light leg curls for three sets of 15.

Squats:

Bar x 10
40kg x 5
50kg x 5
60kg x 5
70kg x 5
80kg x 5
90kg x 5
100kg x 5

Knee felt bad and squats felt awful.

I then had an epiphany.

Every time I have really irritated my knee in the last 6 months, I have been on a low carb diet. I hopped back on keto a few days ago, as I do find it beneficial in terms of my overall health.

However, the lack of retained fluid - coupled with this weather - could mean that my knee issue is exacerbated by the Ketogenic diet?

Monster Walks: 20 metres in both directions.

More rolling.

More water.

KB Lunges:
10 x 8/12/16/20/24kg

Monster Walks x 10 steps in both directions S/S GHRs x 8, for 3 sets.

Great point! I been trying to keep hydrated but in the jobthat I do requires to run around like a road runner in a country club outside services. The next day I find myself drinking water and dazed/tired Going to the rest room is a luxury so I can't drink too much of it. I lose about 5 pounds though. Eat my nuts in my hidden pocket chewing them to the smallest of bits then immediately refilling as to keep my protein intake. 10 pounds over so carbs are scary.

I'm going to have to try and fix it.

I have someone who knows MUCH more than I'll ever know about weightlifting, taking a look at my squat also.

Keto is kicking my arse.

So the gym was an exercise in doing hardish things, which were not "heavy".

DOH Fat Gripz Deadlifts up to 130kg.

Then timed holds with 100kg: Managed 30 seconds on set one, then 20 seconds on set two.

Band Resisted Good Mornings: 20 x 3 sets.

Neck Harness: 50 reps x 6 sets.

Planks.
McGill Crunches.

30 grams of carbs prior to training makes all the difference.

24kg x 10 x 3

Deadlifts against bands:

Bar x 10
60kg x 5
80kg x 3
110kg x 3
140kg x 1
160kg x 1
180kg x 1
140kg x 5

KB Lunges:

8kg x 10
16kg x 10
24kg x 10 x 3 sets per leg.

Leg Extensions:

20 x 3 sets.

Axle Complex stuff is the way to go! I am a fatter man and looks tough as heck. Ever since college wrestling, I let myself go a bit. Abs/aeorobic. My current lifting mostly on things are all of how much weight can you do. I’m down 10 pounds. I really cut the carbs. Goat is buff. After November complex. You got to be shredded?

It was hard. REALLY HARD!!!

It was only about 50kg, I had a minute, or so, between sets - and I was REALLY feeling it.

I am a little lean.

A rare trip to the gym.

Viking Press:

Apparatus x 20
20kg x 10
40kg x 10
60kg x 5
80kg x 3
100kg x 2
120kg x 1
140kg x FAILED?!?!?
100kg x 7 x 3 sets.

(I'll blame the failure on the complexes yesterday. That's my excuse, any way)

Deadlifts whilst stood on purple band wrapped around bar:

30kg x 5
70kg x 5
100kg x 3
120kg x 1
140kg x 1
160kg x 1
180kg x 1. PB: if only because I have never done this variant before. Happy

Pull-ups up to BW + 24kg

Dips: 10 x 5 sets.

Band Facepulls: 30 x 5 sets.
