As the title says.... Can you make decent strength gains training 2x per week??

Due to another small person arriving in my house in March, and the before DIY preparations, it's likely that I'll only be able to train 2x per week from now, to the foreseeable. Am I likely to be able to make gains? Or is it likely I'll just maintain?

The training will likely be:

Day 1
Deadlift
DoH axle Deadlift
Cleans
Log
Strict press

Day 2
Front squat
Squat
Bench
Dips
Rows

What are peoples thoughts?

Awesome. Yeah I'll mix things up, I have stones etc I can use. Farmers when the weather is better. May do sldl on the squat day.
When I go to a gym obv it will vary slightly anyway.
Will also try to get to WHS or strength-tec occasionally too.

Thanks gents.

Would it hurt to throw in some bag work, or sprints on the odd occasion. Or bad idea?
This is mainly for blood pressure reasons.

There is an endorsement. Am starting to like this idea.

I train twice a week doing similar things to what you're intending on doing. Strongest I've been. Heavier, but stronger.

2 x a week will work just fine

If anything you may be doing a little too much especially in your 1st routine, may need to amend slightly when nearing heavier part of a cycle

Tend to agree with cowie, it seems like too much in each session. How about a more events focussed day and a more gym based day?

Events
Deadlift
Log or axle floor to overhead
Carry

Gym
Front squat/squat
Bench/dips
Rows/pull-ups

The DoH axle will only be able 90kg 5x5 stuff. Might drop the cleans as I'll be doing FTOH.
The DL will be around 80% too. Did 180 the other day. Can seem to go too heavy on my own, in the garage, with a stuff as f**k bar.

When you're having 3 days rest after, surely you need to put the work in? Kind of the theory I'm going on?
