Quite happy here. The last few weeks i have changed the way i squat from a real drop and bounce to a slow descent with practically 0 bounce. The plan is to match my PB like this then add a more controlled bounce once i become confident with this new style.

Not sure about these they seem to strain my knees a little.

any reason for change in squat technique mate? You feel it'll help you get stronger kind of pausing it and eliminating the bounce?

Here's my Max with old style:


To me it looks like i have zero control after parallel. It would feel as though i was just dropping then praying i could catch it and come back up.

Now i'm really slow until the very bottom.

This doesn't mean i won't add the bounce back, i was told i used it very effectively, but i want to be tight and in control when i bounce Grin


Of course i could be over thinking it for someone who is still as weak as me.

Meal of the day

2 Chicken breasts from the Barnsleys fine meat market with pasta mayo and cheese.

I put some green hot sauce that i have in the cupboard from my Mexico trip on the chicken and some chilli pepper seasoning so had a little kick.

Was good, this is my tea 50% of the time. Vegetables? What are they?

Yes bench feels good, i watched a little Andy Bolton bench vid and learnt how to tuck my elbows.
