The last few weeks i have changed the way i squat from a real drop and bounce to a slow descent with practically 0 bounce. The plan is to match my PB like this then add a more controlled bounce once i become confident with this new style. Bulgarian Split Squat Each leg 40 x 10 40 x 10 Single Leg Extension Machine Each leg 25 x 12 35 x 12 35 x 12 Not sure about these they seem to strain my knees a little. Calf Leg Press Machine Thing 100 x 14 140 x 14 140 x 14 I'm liking how my squat training feels this last 2 weeks, i wish i could say the same for Deadlift. | ||

It would feel as though i was just dropping then praying i could catch it and come back up. Now i'm really slow until the very bottom. This doesn't mean i won't add the bounce back, i was told i used it very effectively, but i want to be tight and in control when i bounce ![]() Of course i could be over thinking it for someone who is still as weak as me. | ||

Squats Bar x 8 60 x 3 100 x 2 120 x 2 140 x 1 160 x 1 was going to go for 175 but that felt wank so left it. 147.5 x 6 So my new routine called for leg assistance but f**k it back to powerlifting after a week of this BB s**t. Bench Bar x 8 40 x 5 60 x 3 80 x 2 92.5 x 1 105 x 1 Felt easy and had spotter for once so f**k it PB attempt 112.5 x 1 PB! A grinder but I didn't have an hand off which I did on my last PB so happy. 90 x 8 60 x 15 | ||
