I feel after all of Ed's deserved praise, it is a bit criminal how the whole event has been overshadowed.
Loz has made an epic comeback and damned well deserved.

I believe Loz has always had the full package as strongman but has ended up in the injured pile so often.

Dude is an athletic powerlifter and an excellent all-rounder. I'm over the moon for him.

We now have a Brit for Deadlift and a Brit for the Euro strongman title.

Congrats to Loz. Has been juggling powerlifting and strongman and doing great in both.

Fantastic strength athlete.

Indeed,

Yesterday was proud day for British powersports.

Great to see loz uninjured and looking dangerous like we always knew he had the ability to.

Loz is a superb strongman and all round class act. Delighted for him after his last few setbacks.

Honestly his speed on moving events is unreal, he has to be the best in the world at farmers / yoke or very close to it. He destroyed the frame and car walk yesterday

Loz won. Then lalas jnr then arsjo and Thor in 4th if memory serves.

Awesome result for Loz. Even knowing how well the events suited him i dont think anyone was backing him to beat Thor.

Came very very close to a PB on the deadlift as well, just fell about an inch short of getting 440 to a height he could hitch it.

I think Hollands will be disappointed in himself, he talked a big game going into this one and to only take 5th must be a bitter pill.
Stunning performance by Kaliszkowski to take 4th, especially considering he only did 4 of the 5 events. Definitely a big threat to the top titles over the next few years.

In fairness, the pace of the comp once the deadlift was done and dusted was pretty ridiculous.

It was obviously the same for all the athletes, but it clearly took it's toll on some more than others.

It was all done and dusted (including the deadlifts) in about 3 hours and 45 minutes and 90 minutes of that was deadlifting Eek

p.s. Kaliszkowski was the Tits!

I really enjoyed the show last night, and was very happy for Loz to bring the Europe's strongest man title back to Britain

Great performance

Couldn't agree more, after all the injuries comes in first comp back and wins ESM what a comeback. Congratulations Loz!

Hopefully Loz has a good run up to WSM and stay injury free. Definitely think he can make the top 5 and maybe higher depending on the events.
