I just keep doing the same thing but because I haven't saw you in a while I guess you will notice the difference

You look decent at the higher Bodyweight and carry it well too

Between 101kg and 104kg mate... Pretty much the same as it was after I tried to add some weight last autumn and winter when I started to bulk weighing 97kg

If I do lots of fitness work my Bodyweight goes to the top end of that range too which is odd

14.25" deadlift
alternating mixed grip

70kg x 3
120kg x 3
170kg x 3
220kg x 1
250kg x 1
210kg x 5

Start of a new build up

Back squat bands

20kg x 3
70kg x 3
120kg x 3
170kg x 1
195kg x 3,3,3,3

Very tough... lower backs was in pain doing these as I havent been stretching or pin rolling for some time

deadlift alternating mixed grip

100kg x 3
150kg x 3
180kg x 1
202.5kg x 3,3,3,3

Same as squats

I managed to keep my energy levels up by eating some yogurts, milkshake and similar foods while doing this weights session so I was still fine for the class I went to with Emma afterwards

Circuit based high impact lower body exercises

45 mins

Clothes were drenched after this, fitness I really good for a big lad too

Then after tea

15 minutes of lower body and back stretches then Emma rolling pinned my quads, hams and IT bands

How do you find the bands on the old joints mike? I find them very punishing

Some good work going on. Ready for some pb's once the bands come off?

My lower back can get a bit worn and the tendinitis is quite painful... Which means at the top of the squat it can be most uncomfortable as I lock out

There isn't much difference without the bands for me the way I use them but I am happy enough with the number... Plus a little bit more on the top

They are just a variation and slight increased difficulty... I don't use them like others do

But when I use bands my casual nature when unracking weights disappears and I am tight and focused from the start of the exercise instead of the start of the set

I'm not far off pb territory on most things but never seem to want to do them... I appear to find more appealing targets both short and medium term

Will make a note of a few

240kg and 250kg deadlift for three

225kg squat for three

150kg doubles on bench with bands

300kg 14.5" deadlift and 272.5kg for three

There's a few off the top of my head mate... Being relatively occupied with works and going to fitness classes and doing awesome kettlebell lung busters I'm pretty patient and happy with the way things are going... Although I will concead I could be achieving faster strength improvements but in my defense I am making many small steps forward and very few back

The assisted chin up/wide grip pull up set up using bands I am a fan of too...

I can now train these and actually get some volume in and well as even do them as part of a circuit

5 assisted supinated chins
10 press ups
10 16kg kettlebell swings

5 rounds

That'd be good

Good outlook on training mate. I ain't overly bothered about 1rm pb's all the time. Prefer rep pb's or pb's for volume done etc. think it helps with longevity in the sport too, I'd be on the scrap heap otherwise.

Keep up the good work mate!

Don't get me wrong though if I thought a new PB was on the cards I wouldn't avoid it by any means... I just want to get stronger as appose to see how strong I am currently Happy

Leave it with me though... That powerlifting total does need bumping up so thanks for reminding me

Looking at 250kg for three deadlifts, 225kg back squat triple and the bench 150kg double and triple without bands I'm pretty happy that I may have a new PB on the cards when and if I reach them goals Happy

(my bench pb is a close grip one which I don't do for the time being)

Cheers for that Mike.
Im hugely inconsistent when it comes to getting conditioning into my weekly training and that circuit was a reminder of how little time it can take so I have no excuses in future lol Happy

A thank you from me also! I HATE conditioning! And while that perticular circuit was hard for me, it was also enjoyable, barely 5 minutes of my time too! Happy
