Theirs a guy at my gym with scary potential. Hes primarly a bodybuilder but I have never seen so much potential in a young man. Hes only been training a couple years but yet i seen him basically close grip 200kg bench and squat deep reps with 210kg belt only, all while dieting. He says he would like to give powerlifting a go, but he has his first bodybuilding show coming up in a few months. Some guys have just got great genetics!

Or maybe, equally, he's been on plenty of gear the last couple of years, which as a competitive bodybuilder is fairly likely.

He takes loads of gear, no doubt about that but still seems lot stronger than other bodybuilders i know who use as well.

What bodywieght is he ?

Suppose it depends on bw but if he's been hammering the gear I wouldn't call that strong a top ex bodybuilder I know when he was at his off season peak would be bench 260 deadlifiting top 300's and sqautted 320-340 for sets of twelve he was 24 stone and 5,8

hes just turned 20. 5 foot 11 and around 16 stone at 8% body fat. 200kg is not his max bench. No doubt theirs stronger guys but he is still a strong young man.

He's a very modest bloke when it comes to training and playing down what he could lift I remember pat warner pulling a sloppy 350 deadlift and scream on a Ronnie coleman style shouting things like who else can do this I'm the boss etc and billy just turned and said id like to see you stiff leg deadlift 300 for 8 now that would be worth screaming about haha

Ah yes, I have heard tale of his strength in the past when he was making his comeback. I actually didn't believe some of what I read and queried it on a forum as at the time they were saying has repped for 10 whatver the world record for one was at the time... but regardless of the exact figures obviously a very strong guy indeed. How did his comeback go?

did u say he was 20?? strong guy if he is!!

still! imo! being strong at gym lifts doesnt mean he'l master strongman, i know guys with huge squats and deads but wouldn do very well at things like yoke, farmers, stone etc...

good thing is he's young enough to learn whatever sport he wants to go into!
