Boar said:There are so many guys on TRT , which seems perfectly safe , that it probably makes it easier to stay on full time ..... TRT doesn't appear that bad so I guess its not hard to convince yourself .... the doses are gonna make the difference

and don't forget peter, I have seen the contents of your cupboards you f**king hypocrite !

Trt is NOT safe without monitoring however Boar

You need 6-12 monthly checks for life on trt mainly for red blood cell count and prostate, along with other things.

Exogenous test DOES raise red blood cell count and if it exceeds normal range then a phlebotomy is required. Being above normal range can lead to a heart attack.

I know its not safe without monitoring etc but my thoughts were its very very easy to convince yourself that you can 'do it yourself' and everything will be ok .... which we all know it wont

I cant decide if it was worth it or that I regret it ...im not that arsed , I had a blast ...life goes on , I have enjoyed some amazing endurance s**t since my strongman shizzle

Just while we are on topic. Would pct/hcg not help any of you guys that were on. Is trt the only option??

It helps yes, hcg is ideally used whilst on, and not after you come off, which I believe would help a lot of the guys who have been on long courses, massively.

This is my understanding. People who stay on use hcg to key their nuts working. Then you hear of the usual Clomid/Tamoxifen therapy when coming off.

Yep, it's absolutely essential to use hcg whilst on to stimulate natural test production throughout the course, then use clomid/tamoxifen to fire up the pituartry gland so the body can release its own LH/FSH once the exogenous compounds have left the body.

People who do not do this have a very lengthy recovery and can feel f**ked for a long time. I've learned the hard way

I think the problem with any hormonal pct is that it is still screwing with your body's feedback loop. Whilst hcg may stimulate the production of leutinizing hormone your body is going to cotton on to this and will decrease production of some other hormone to compensate for this unregulated increase in LH.

At least with tamoxifen you are simply stopping estrogen binding to the cell receptors and not the actual hormonal processes themselves.

Biology experts probably look at juicers and shake their head in disbelief. We are all quasi-experts based on very limited understanding. Thank f**k the human body is pretty robust and can recover from most abuse it's put through.

I have heard of some crazy bas***ds coming off and using f**k all. They swear they feel good and have no problems. I imagine a blood test would probably show different.

Though I guess, every individual is different.

Hcg is an LH analog. It mimics LH, but does not help the body produce LH. It actually stops the pituartry gland from secreting LH as your body detects LH when hcg is administered and then ceases its own production.

And I thought tamoxifen binds to the estrogen receptor, tricking the body into thinking there is not estrogen, which in turn makes the body produce more testosterone (so it can be converted to estrogen)
