Conans...you bought Popeyes?

im borrowing a conans hopefully.

I wont be training barrels, i find sandbags much harder so going to train them instead. Maybe twice a week now instead of once.

Surely it makes more sense to train barells mate? Different to pick up, run with and load!

Yeah I agree, cover all bases. Sandbags are flexible unlike barrels.

its not the lifting of them that becomes the issue, its carrying them over the distance, lasting the distance and doing it quickly.

Had it been 4 sandbags at brits last year id be slower than 4 kegs, if that makes sense.

Last year i never trained loading. So its not a bad start lol

I would train both, i think it would be a big mistake not to train the barrells as if you want to be lightning quick, which you'll have to be to beat sadler, you got to do the pick like burke where he picks it up facing away from the platform and twists it round in a split second. Your fast as f**k at the running.

I think you have a real shot at winning and that's a huge deal, even felix has never won a british title, however

Sadler is very good at..

- Log for reps
- Conans wheel
- dumbbell for reps
- duck walk farmers medleys
- deadlift for reps
- Barrell loading

Gonna have to have endurance in spades and get everything picture perfect!

Looking forward to vids pal - always motivating.

thanks paul. I will sort something soon. My plan is to do a sandbag shuttle one day and a keg shuttle another day. Burkes a big man, what he can do with a barrel and i can do is sometimes down to his size.

Should have some good vids of my build up, of all my events just not the above.

Wouldnt suprise me if saddler won it.

Training looks awesome and a lot of fun mate. Spreading the events makes way more sense to me.
