The shed sounds nice and big Dan. Have you got it divided into separate rooms? Only in the top pic it doesn't look like twelve feet from the broom to the opposite wall.

Tom, no it's all one room mate, the pic is off my mobile so not the best.
Inside it's probably 11.5 feet wall to wall, it's actually a log cabin and the logs are about 2.5 to 3 inches thick, so you lose that thickness all round.
Bear in mind thats a 7 foot Oly bar and that rack is about 5 feet wide, maybe more.
The cabin is definitely a touch smaller than I had hoped and I'm starting to wish I'd bought the next size up to be honest.
Today I'm going to turn the rack through 90 degrees so it backs onto the longer wall, that way I should have room for a cross trainer at the side of it.
I've bought a 6x4 mat and wanted to keep that area clear for deadlifts and overhead work so if that will still fit at the front of the rack once it's been rotated I should be sorted.

Tonights pretend sesh - they are not real sessions yet as I am lifting like a 12 year old girl, except for the skirt and training bra of course.

Deadlifts, 160kg, 5x5. More in the tank but I want to be able to walk tommorow.
Seated Rows ( because I have a lat tower ) 70kg, 5x5. Too light, but first time I've done these and finding my feet.

Oly bars are awkward ! They rotate as you try and grip them !
Long way to go to get back on form, but I will pull 300kg in 2010.

Rushed over to meet Mr Felix and got tickets for Winter Giants. Big fella.

Tonights sesh :

Bench Press, 110kg, 5x5.
Barbell Curl, 40kg, 5x6. This was too light hence 6 reps per set. Oly bars spin - and I'm probably the only person on here who didn't know that - and this was very easy on the wrists and somehow felt a good deal lighter than my old set up.

Quite happy with this session for some reason, despite the weights being exceptionally feeble.
Teething troubles of the new Gym, such as things being constantly in the way, are mostly ironed out and I'm ready to put in some solid sessions.
It's still feeling a bit small though, but sod all I can do about that now...

And the new Hi Fi arrived today, so when I finally figure out how to post the odd training vid get ready for some thumping sound tracks Wink
