Also Radiohead with DJ shadow supporting was awesome.

I had Mogwai and Kling Klang on today Happy

Iron Maiden a couple of months ago in Aberdeen. They may be getting on a bit but those old boys know how to put on a show.

Next best was Clutch down in Glasgow a couple of years back.

Oasis/Kasabian/The Enemy all in one day at Heaton Park June 2009. Loved it.

Metallica in about 1990 at the SECC was my first concert. Guns n Roses in 1992 at Gateshead was amazing. I saw Kurt Kobain and Dave Grohl playing as "Teen Spirit" in a student pub in Edinburgh on a random Sunday night in 1991 which was brilliant.

A mate of mine got slapped off a Manc chav at that very gig.

Been to a few amazing gigs over the years.

RHCP with James Brown supporting - Hyde Park
Underworld - Hyde Park
Kasabian - Brixton Academy (I thought I would enjoy this, but I have literally never seen a more up for it crowd, the place went mental and Kasabian reacted accordingly, wouldnt have expected this to even be in my top 10).
Jose Gonzalaez - Briton's Protection (with about 13 other people, before he got fame from the Sony advert and various other TV programmes).
The Chemical Brothers - Brixton Academy
Glastonbury 2007 - (quite possibly the worst weather you could imagine for a festival. After two days of non stop rain everyone just succumbed and got mangled for 3 days with the Chems closing the Pyramid stage on the Sunday with their then new show.

There are loads of other amazing gigs that I've been to, went through a stage when I would be at one pretty much twice a month. Shame I dont get to many now.

What's the best gig you've ever been to?

I WAS THERE.
Never seen a bad Faithless gig though.
I've seen many gigs but up there with the best is an eclectic collection.

Madness at the O2 in Birmingham.
Dire Straits with Eric Clapton at the Mandella concert.
Killers at Hyde Park.
However I never saw Queen live which makes me very sad.

Rammstein, Manchester Arena about 6-7 years ago. Awesome! Also Within Temptation, Queen Margrets Union, Glasgow. Very intimate gig, almost on top of the stage, amazing show. Metallica at Newcastle Arena couple of years ago. Fantastic show, but far too loud, even folk who go to loud concerts all the time said so, was almost death for a week and still have a little tinitus!

Yeah there was a few t**t chavs there i gotta admit. Me and my mates gave a few a slap when they started kicking off for no apparent reason. Dont understand why they went, they couldnt have liked the music.

Yeah Kasabian are class live, i saw them in June this year too, and going again in December, they always get the crowd going.

The Felice Brothers at the End of the the Road Festival last year. Bright Eyes in Birmingham earlier this year. The Low Anthem whenever I've seen them, other than in Birmingham last month (too damned hot in the venue). Phosphorescent at the End of the Road this year.

Gutted I can't make the End of the Road next year, inconsiderate brother is getting married that weekend, the bas***d.
