Hello sugdeners, i have a workout pattern that fits around work and is fairly strict tbh having said that I want to increase my bench and the only way I see is to do some more frequency, trouble is my days are mon/tue/thurs/fri so the only way to do this is at least two consecutive days bench, so have any of you done this? Or am I asking for trouble?

My thoughts would be bench plus flys, pulldowns, rows, face pulls whatever then next day military press, close grip bench, maybe laterals and push downs or just more volume on military and close grip.

Don't go to failure on the first day, and do speed work on the second.

if you have 4 training days why does bench need to be consecutive?

mon - bench heavy
tue - squat/dead heavy
thu - bench speed
fri - squat/dead speed

pretty much what i do bar i do the squat heavy on wednesday not tuesday

Same.

Currently doing:

Squat Monday, Bench Wednesday, Deadlift Friday, Bench Saturday.

Working for me so far!

So this is actually pretty much how I do it now,which gives me faith in how I've planned my weeks so far, but I wanted to sneak some more bench in but I don't think I can without adding another day in over the weekend.
