Old Age Presser Member 75, 7731 posts SQ 0, BP 200, DL 200 400.0 kgs @ 105kgs Eq	Just to let you know how Moz and I got on yesterday. Moz opened at 140 and then failed 147.5 twice. I opened 145, did 155 and failed 160. Icepick videod my lifts and they're over on PLUK if anyone wants to catch my fetching outfit. Moz came fifth out of 13, but he had to force feed himself to get over 82.5 and was giving away a lot of weight to everyone else. The drive down took over three and a half hours and we left at 6.00 am, which on reflection was stupid. You can't lift at your best in these circumstances. If I'm going that far again for an early start, it's got to be a hotel the night before. I won the M2 title with my performance (beat the M1 winner as well) and came second overall, so that's got to be pleasing. Got the 160 moving no problem, but the arm injury kicked in half way up. Upcoming targets are 192.5 equipped bench by the end of 2007 in a BWLA/IPF event to get the BLWA British M2 record, and 165 raw at next year's raw bench. John Walker, who doesn't post here (or anywhere else) lifted 147.5 and 152.5 but failed 155, which would have been a new pb. Met Icepick briefly, but didn't have much chance to talk because I was selected for testing (second time in a fortnight). Must be too conspicuous in that leotard!

It's just the matching teeshirt that sets it off! I'm sure that's why I got tested on Sunday. Wearing a yellow top on the last day of the Tour de France was just asking for a test! I guess I'm just not as shy as I used to be.
