Does f*ck all for SugdenBarbell.co.uk Member 1, 7173 posts SQ 182.5, BP 110, DL 205497.5 kgs @ 107kgs UnEq Administrator | Bryn has informed me that this competition has been moved to the weekend of 5th-6th April and will be held at Birmingham Sports Centre. I believe that means one day will clash with the North West Unequipped unfortunately.

Old Age Presser Member 75, 7734 posts SQ 0, BP 200, DL 200400.0 kgs @ 105kgs Eq | Bummer! Doesn't affect me personally, but we struggle to get enough events and then two clash on the same day. I'm sure Fred wouldn't have changed the date lightly. Is/was Fat Pete going to lift unequipped, then?

Scotbasher - forever Member 59, 2115 posts | I originally put the NWC calender together to leave a reasonable amount of space between contests and making sure that there was no clash with public holidays and also british championship events. You also need to put a reasonable amount of time between a qualifying event such as the NW Unequipped and the British "Finals". Last year the Man and Dist Powerlifting event in July was too close to summer hols so we brought that forward to June (lancs and cheshire June 8th) in order that it may boost attendance although it may not be ideal for the few top level lifters we have that will be doing the british seniors later in the month. Its just frustrating that these two events now clash.
