Member 194, 3976 posts | From Brian Head 2 head between Andy Bolton and Donnie Thompson. Glen Ross to go for heaviest raw total. 400 KG+ deadlift attempt by surprise lifter and world class strongman. Highest standard lifting in British history. Svend Karlsen to compare. Filmed for SKY. If you're not there, then you haven't got powerlifting coursing through your veins. This is history, -be part of it! Is this strongman prehaps Mr Felix? I would guess he will go for a 410 pull at least.

Member 194, 3976 posts | I would guess he will get the best total number of pies consumed within the day, even my appetite can't match the likes of the Ross chomper. Hmm, realistically I would imagine he would get about: 360/270/400, he may bench a bit more on a very good day (may be off with the squat a bit though). He is a strong bencher as he has to move the bar about 3 inches as he is so slim, and the pull will depend on if he can deadlift properly and not do the gay hitching he did at his last outing. Did I mention he is fat? I mean Carl wil come just to stand by him and look malnourished for his profile pic

Member 194, 3976 posts | off the top of my head it's the 12th/13th July at Bournmouth Ex Centre (very nice venue, just of the pier)I'll check my invite later at home. Yeah I guess it could be Hollands too, they are going to be sadly overshadowed by Andy's pull though (how the f**k do you overshadow someone who deadlifts 400kgs )

Do hugs, not drugs. Member 136, 712 posts SQ 380, BP 242.5, DL 330952.5 kgs @ 110kgs Eq | http://www.bpc2008.com/ The men's seniors are all on the Sunday. Bolton versus Thompson and Ross on last. I know that Andy is going to be taking it very seriously and has trained well. I've got my last deadlift session tonight at Catt's and then its feet up for me. Training has been very up and down for this one but I'm going to give it some stick and see what happens - f**k it, its the finals so s**t or bust. I will endeavour to provide a full report of the competition aided and abetted by Mr Griffiths, so long as he doesn't start scraping down there, with a group of defenseless 14 year olds.
