Entry lists HAVE BEEN posted on the BDFPA message page for BOTH Saturday 9th October and Sunday 10th October.
One or two amendments may be necessary to the list of names but the SPLIT of weight classes over the two days remains as published.
This competition is registered for dope testing and new and established members should be aware they may be required to be drug tested at the event or out of competition later.
The majority of lifters are unequipped but all lifters please remember to bring the correct kit.A kit check will take place.
We look forward to the lifting which starts in two weeks from tomorrow.A large contingent of selected BDFPA lifters are in Malta next week at the WDFPLF Single Lifts Champs or are in final preparations for the WDFPLF World Powerlifting Champs in IRELAND a few weeks later. We wish them well.
In view of this with so many members lifting elsewhere with the Federation we are pleased with the entry of 76.
All welcome.Spectators 2.Music on, plus cafe open from the start of the weigh in.
Seperate changing rooms and toilets on site.3 warm up platforms in seperate room but with clear view of the competition platform.Seating for 70+ spectators and standing room when necessary.Free parking in Athletic Centre car park.
This will be the first outing for our new Pullum Squat/Bench combo and set of calibrated eleiko competition weights.Lifting starts at 10am on both days.
Regards,
Paul

Really enjoyable competition today.Several excellent close competitive classes.Juniors and teens were splendid not only setting records but really getting stuck in.Hope to put up results on bournemouthbarbell.co.uk web site early next week.

Big guys tomorrow.90KG class is full and the others are well represented.Come along and enjoy the lifting.Unequipped lifters today going close on squatting 3 times bodyweight, benching double bodyweight and one junior lifter went close with 3.7 bodyweight deadlift.Ladies produced or had a go at several British Records and performed really competitively.
Marc Giles,Manon Bradley and Peter Linnet travelled a long way to support and help us.Thankyou and all the others who contributed so much to the day.
Action starts tomorrow at 10am at Kings Park,Bournemouth.
Regards,
Paul

A big thanks to Paul, a smashing guy, comes across as very passionate about lifting, the sport would be lost with out people like him. Very well run, and spotters/loaders did a good job. Thanks again Paul :-)
