We will have our new set of Eleiko competition P/L weights(335kg) and Eleiko competition P/L bar available to use on the competition platform as well as a brand new Pullum squat/bench combination.Warm up area will have 3 squat bench combos as well. Smaller venue than the University but well serviced with the cafe on site and available all day. Seating for 80 plus spectators.£2.Music and we hope to have trade support as well. Regards, Paul

We are a Community Amateur Sports Club and provide coaching in all aspects of lifting as well as Strength and Conditioning for a variety of sportspeople.Currently Athletics,Football,Rugby,Sculling,Special Olympics,Volleyball as well as Allround Lifting,Powerlifting and Weightlifting.We are also insured to do static strongman activities. All members must be a member of an NGB that is affiliated to WADA,or has a similar ethos(ie BDFPA).Our membership is(otherwise) open and we input to local schools ,the University and attempt to encourage and engage all members of the community.We operate in 3 venues weekly and will soon be starting at a fourth. The club is stricly non profit making and any fund raising is used to support club activities including the occasional hardship grant ,when appropriate, or support for lifters and others competing Internationally .All helpers,fund raisers and coaches etc are volunteers(CRB checked) Sorry to go on. percy Member 384, 353 posts SQ 250, BP 162.5, DL 287.5 700.0 kgs @ 88kgs Eq	British Records can be set at the All England but NOT World records.I intend updating everyone on the entry later this week.A busy time for BDFPA lifters with many competing in the European Single Lifts in Malta on the first weekend of October. The top Powerlifters are now focussing on the World Drug Free Championships which take place in Ireland in November.Best wishes to all of them and we hope their preparations go well. Regards, Paul

However I think its a very good idea to have a comp near to this time for all the people who cant make the worlds. Me and my training partner are really looking forward to this one.
