I’d love him to set the WR at some point because he’s had a bad run and perhaps underrated and would be a nice touch to his career. He should win the 180 log for reps. | ||

If he is near Pritchett at this event on deadlift, he will be challenging Thor at deadlift in March. | ||

Member 4646, 1964 posts | Post Edited: 29.09.2018 @ 23:13 PM by Mikeneto AdamT said: I think Brian will increase too Dubai event is perfect for Shaw, he probably couldn't ask for better events. 18" deadlift ...he won it last time at the Arnold's OH medley...he is weaker than Thor overhead but better at dumbbell Heavy yoke...arguably best in the world when it gets heavy Truck pull...good for him if it is heavy Arm over arm...arguably best in the world Stones...best in the world when heavy...which it is supposedly the heaviest stone run...maybe 500lbs+ last stone I have watched the American version of 2018 WSM final and apart from frame carry and deadlift, Shaw looked bad. But his training looks great. If Shaw doesn't win Dubai i will just pick Thor as winner for all foreseeable comps. | ||

It's a moonface era now. Member 5901, 956 posts | Yeah, i think Shaw will be beaten by Liscis, Mateusz and for sure Thor. It's not that hes not good anymore, it's more because the standart has increased and for the young guys progess much faster. | ||
