I agree about the price, but I have on record that in August 2020 the same thing from the same chippy was £5.50 so a £3.50 (64%) increase in under four years. While Rishi and his chums are sucking each others dicks about inflation dropping to 2% they always seem to forget the previous few years and strangely forget to mention it. Jury service I have done before, about twenty years ago and it was dreadfully dull. I am hoping to get it moved to Bolton rather than Manchester so fingers crossed. I will also have to set my alarm clock for that fortnight, which as a retired gentleman I regard as an outrage. | ||
