A simple four

XYXXX
GXXXX
XYXXY

A matter of seconds, but having the first letter was a huge help

Yesterday I did an online puzzle which comprised ten questions. Eight were simple enough and comprised a "next in the sequence" aspect. They were initial letters of various well known things or simple-enough sequences.

Some of those I can remember were :

Initial letters of 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th etc.

Initial letters of 1, 2, 3, 4 etc.

Initial letters of months of the year.

Initial letters of colours of the rainbow.

Initial letters of planets in the solar system.

When the answers were given they only give a correct/incorrect response, there was no explanation. The eight I knew did not need one.

The two I failed did, they were :

C Y F T M ? I T S, fill in the missing letter

and

Z F T F T T ? what comes next ?

I know the answers but that is of little use to me, so if anyone could oblige I would be grateful.

Yes I do believe it is. I would not argue with that.

Annoyingly I was convinced that the Z was zero but got no farther than that.

Well played

Thanks.

A tricky five for me today. A host of potentials meant a very tactical fourth was required.
