No Olympus yet I assume?

I would also make that assumption. The chippy on the side may well be open, but the cafe part won't be.

Also helps me disguise mid meeting furious masturbation for a bad case of athlete's foot, which can only be a positive thing.

Does that add to or detract from the pleasure ?

As an older gentleman my opportunities are limited so I tend to make the most of them :-)

Chinese take away last night and very nice it was too. I was served from behind a screen but like most food places in my home town (and we have many) payment is in cash only.

The note was placed on a tray which then went behind the screen, the note was removed and replaced with several coins as change, the tray then came back round the screen, into my pocket and away. Not really sure what that achieves other than a chance touching of hands.

The food was delicious, very happy to see this particular place open again.

Tyre pressures got checked yesterday, first time for a while and I actually had to let a bit out. Not often that happens but it is usually this time of year when it does

Very heavy rain around nine lat night, the back gutter was rather blocked and water poured over, not the end of the world as that has happened before, but I later noticed more water than I could have imagined on the work surfaces on the kitchen. How the f**k did that get in ? The obvious places all appear dry. Inspector Gav has taken up the challenge and will be around later. If it isn't one thing, it's another. Bah !!

It's just had a very heavy shower here, and I pulled back the blind to see if it had stopped.

It hadn't, but it had slackened considerably, so my surprise I saw my mate's twelve year old daughter standing in the rain at the corner of the street.

I asked "why are you stood in the rain?"
"To get wet" came the reply
"Why?" I enquired
"Because Ella is coming back with some Chinese* and I'm going to hug her so she gets wet"
"Won't she already be wet?" I wondered
"She may not be wet enough, so I'm here"

If there is an end to this, I'll let you know, but I seriously doubt it.

The Gentlemen was a highly enjoyable flick. Might I also recommend Parasite if you havent seen it? It is Korean and subtitled but still very entertaining.

AH HA !!

I don't often start posts in that manner but I feel it may be justified on this occasion.

I was wandering through BT's film store the other day and noticed this very film. From the synopsis I remembered it immediately and the good doctor and I have had a conversation about it.

If I recall correctly it was mentioned on some film review show I happened across where the reviewer in question rated it as possibly one of the best films ever. On the strength of this I mentioned it to Rick and he of course had heard of it (he always has heard of everything) and had heard similar. He watched it and rated it in similar fashion.

So it is only a matter of time.

This morning I watched something called "Bad Samaritan" which was grim but engrossing.

Parasite is absolutely stunning, one of the best films I have ever seen. Anybody who is comfortable with subtitles is likely to enjoy it; I am entirely certain you will.

There seems to be mounting rumours that gyms will reopen on July 4th, nothing official as yet but I do hope so. It is circa three months since I did anything that ever remotely resembles at tap. This could so easily be gruesome

Adlington reopens July 4 unless the rules change. I'm not likely to be there for at least another month, though.

Whatever you're comfortable with Rick. Peace of mind counts for a lot.

I had five months off in 2016. I lost 25% off my 1RM, but it came back at a pleasing speed. Happy

Well here's hoping.

I dislike what is happening to my physical presence, as in I don't appear to have one anymore. The forearms are losing it, traps as showing signs of decline but the legs are the worst. I yearn to get my legs back

And courtesy of tonight's Pointless, "The wilting Fig" is an anagram of "weightlifting"
