Roast chicken, roast potatoes, new potatoes, honey roast carrots and parsnips, cauliflower, sprouts, Yorkshire puddings and sausages.

Followed by cherry pie with custard.

Some cheese on the cauliflower.

Lunch: corned beef, cheddar, cream cheese, pickle, and mustard sandwiches.

Dinner: fries in flatbreads with various goopy tasty things (mayo and sweet chilli; cream cheese and fruity chilli; blue cheese sauce).

I could just do a roast, though.

Monday, 24th February, start 16:00

Took things a bit too easy on last week's descent so we will change the drops to five kilos and try to leave the reps the same, this be a shade on the hard side, but we can only try.

The singles were all paused as per last week and all reps were touch and go, also as per last week. The top 120 was about the same degree of difficulty, but the five kilo drops that followed were rather more difficult than last week's ten kilos drops/ Happy to report that I made them, which is a little better than I expected.

All smooth and fluent and put down very quietly which is always good sign. Hip just nipped a tad in the start position at the top but was fine throughout other than that.

Physio on the way home which turned out to be quite a long session, and Lord does my hip ache now.

Aching this morning, by the lord Harry I am. Still it's all for the greater good. The radio has talk of snow this morning but I drove my usual route to work and never saw a single flake, nor any evidence of it. Oldham has it I believe and the notoriously bad Glossop, but where the righteous live - nothing.

That doesn't surprise me. R kid always gets it worse than me and when driving back from his place things always improve once the A6 is crossed
