I work on the theory that the closer you park to the shop doors the more likely you are to get your car t**tted by some moron and the farther from the doors you are the less likely this is as the very dim are also very lazy and dislike walking what they consider to be too far.
I generally have only two bags of shopping and therefore have two options -
Option the first
Place bags in trolley and push trolley to car, remove bags and push trolley back to the little covered trolley park (which is about half way between the shop doors and the car).
Then walk back to the car.
Option the second
Place bags in trolley, push trolley to little covered trolley park, remove bags and carry the rest of the way to the car.
Under normal conditions I consider option the second to be the preferred option, but under certain conditions, such as buying something very heavy or awkward, I can and would revert to option the first.

Thanks for clarifying. It makes sense when you put it like that.

In one of the games the four contestants team up into two pairs and have to answer a question, the answer to which in this particular game, is always a number, then the take the average of the two answers and the nearest average to the real answer takes the point.

Yesterday's question - How far is it, as the crow flies, is it from York, in Yorkshire, to New York in America.

The real answer is 3,364, the guesses were 4,000, 5,000, 3,300 and 300,000. Yep that's right, one of them thought that it was 60,000 miles farther away than the moon.

Did they know how far away the moon is? (My guess would be not if they have no idea how far away New York is.)

I don't think this particular "celebrity" knows what the moon is let alone where it is.

It's been a while since I did these and they were rather fun.

Steve Fairclough asked the question, "name all eleven football teams that have played in the top flight whose names ends in "City""

It took a long time to get nine, one clue was needed to get the tenth and I would have been there yet had he not told me the last one. My football knowledge is slight, my geographical knowledge is just above zero. And I only know that as I find my way home every night without asking. Anything more taxing is too much. Good question though.

Manchester City, Leicester City, Bristol City, Bradford City, Swansea City, Birmingham City, Cardiff City, Norwich City, Hull City, Stoke City. I'm guessing the 11th must be a 'trick' answer, for the life of me I can't think of it...

Maybe it was a long, long time ago? Lincoln City...?

Nope, no tricks, the first ten are correct but the last is Coventry, who were according to Wikipedia relegated from the Premier League in 2001 after 34 years in the top flight.

Bradford was the one I would never have got

Thank you. Now can you name England's 1966 world cup final winning team ?

I got nine in a minute, the remaining two took an hour longer, but I got 'em in the end. Could not believe just long it took to remember two seriously famous people.

Believe it or believe it not, I struggled on Bobby Moore and Nobby Stiles. Got Bobby first of those two and then Nobby about two seconds later. But Bobby Moore, the man who lifted the cup ?????? How did I forget him ?

Monday, 27th January, start 16:15

Did some stretching first and then it began.

Bench, very raw, squat boots on
20 x 15
20 x 15
20 x 15
50 x 5
60 x 5
70 x 5
80 x 5
90 x 5
97 x 5
100 x 5
102 x 5
105 x 5
107 x 5
All bar the last two I unracked myself but wisely got Mack to hand off the last two, normally the last set is the hardest but this one started at a pace and the first four weren't too bad at all, but the last, oh dear oh lord, that was harder than the first four put together, and was dreadfully slow to rise. Next week we top out at 110 which will be interesting, one thing is for sure, I will get hand offs for all five.
